Some context:
Currently, I am in 9th grade and taking Calculus BC.
I can understand competition math problems and what they are asking for but I don't really have a sense for solving them.
I should have started preparing earlier and I regret my life decisions but the best thing I can do now is to try.
I really need help preparing for AMC 10 as there is (I think) around a month before AMC 10 and I want to get into AIME. However, I am not that good at competition math (I can understand most of the problems and I can set up diagrams but beyond that, I don't really know how to start most of the time). I can brute force the problems, but that takes up too much time. So far my weak points have mainly been geometry and some stuff from precalculus that I have forgotten (I took those courses during summer break so I don't really remember much except for the basic stuff). I was wondering what I should do in this month to prepare for AMC 10. Should I simply try to learn formulas and concepts or should I try some previous AMC tests? I have about 5 hours to study everyday and 12+ hours on the weekends.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. Any and all advice is appreciated!
