Hi, I was wondering if someone could help me with part a and check part b for me

a. Due to the position of the moon in relation to the sun influencing tidal waves, the average water height is 2.5 m higher than under normal circumstances and causes the water to reach a maximum water height of 6.40 m. During these conditions the water height will be calculated with the function H=d*a*sin(0.506t). Calculate a and d

b. Let the value of a be 3.6 and the value for d be 3 and calculate what percentage of the time the water is higher than 5 m. This is my answer to b:

Using a graphic calculator I came up with the points of intersection being x = 1.1640928 and x = 5.0445883

5.0445883 - 1.1640928 = 3.8804955

(3.8804955/(2π/0.506)) * 100 = 31%

Thank you in advance
