An estimated 160 people per week attempt the Kokoda Trail in Papua New Geinea. If 15% more people try it next week, how many people will that be?

It is 160+ 15/100*160

which you can do on the site calc. on the home page.

I usually start like this: 160 being 100% divide by 100. So 1% = 1.6 people. 1.6 x 15 =24

That being said Melody was correct and whoever the other anonymous was... Idiot

15% of 160 is 24, so next week there'll be 184 hikers.
