  1. An observer on a cliff top 57 m high observes a ship at sea. The angle of depression to the ship is 15°. The ship sails towards the cliff, and the angle of depression is then 25°. How far, to the nearest metre, did the ship sail between sightings?

Oops.... I made a slight error

It should be

(57/tan15 - 57/tan25) =   about 90.49m
