hello!

I have a light and I need to know hom much will be lite for same given distance.

How much will be lite)

for example: I have an angle (30º) and a distance (40m).

How do I do the math?

Use the Inverse Square Law. (Which all radiation obeys)

 

ie double the distance from the source is one quarter of the intensity

   three times the distance from the source is one ninth of the intensity

  four times the distance   ...... one sixteenth  of the intensity

 

or 1/d^2  where d is the distance from the source
