First solve for the distance between the boat and the bridge.

Distance = \(\dfrac{96}{\tan 6}\)feet.

Speed = \(\dfrac{\text{Distance}}{\text{Time}}\)

SO THAT

\(\text{Time}=\dfrac{\text{Distance}}{\text{Speed}}\)

\(\text{Time}\\ =\dfrac{\frac{96}{\tan 6}\text{ft}}{440\text{ft/min}}\\ =\dfrac{96}{440\tan 6}\text{min}\\ \approx 2.076\min \text{#}\)

# means final answer.
