Let angle P be x and angle Q be y:

2y-3=x

x+y=180

x=180-y

So, substitute into the first equation:

2y-3=180-y.

Use a little algebra:

2y-3=180-y

2y+y-3=180-y+y

3y-3=180

3y-3+3=180+3

3y=183

(3y/3)=(183/3)

y=183/3=61
