This is not working for you because the sine of an angle must be between -1 and 1 inclusive.

You cannot find the inverse sine of a number outside this range.

That is, 1.2 is too big.

Think about right angled triangles and let theta be one of the acute angles. The hypotenuse it the longest side and sin( theta) = opp/hyp. SO sin( theta) has to be less than 1.
