What is the area of a semicircle with a radius of 3m (using 3.14 as pi)smiley

area of a circle = pi * radius^2

                        = 3.14 * 3^2

                         = 28.26m ( area for full circle)

Since it is a semicircle, we divide the answer we get by 2

                        = 28.26 / 2

                  area = 14.13m squared
