Yes it is very important. 

If you understand it there is really nothing to remember but it makes many trig problems much easier.

So put some effort into understanding what it represents.

its kinda hard to completely memorize so just have a pic of it in a folder or on your phone for reference. Also make sure your calc is in radians whenever u r doing a problem involving it
