I would appreciated if you helped me work through the answer so I can solve similar the questions?

Coco flips a penny, a nickel, and a quarter. Each coin is fair (meaning that heads and tails are equally likely to come up). What is the probability that at least one of the coins comes up heads?

Enter your answer as a fraction in simplified form.

There can be 0, 1, 2, or 3 heads.  Therefore, the probability that at least one of the coins comes up heads is 3/4.

[3 C 1] + [3 C 2] + [3 C 3] ==[3 + 3 + 1] ==7 / 2^3 ==7 / 8 - probability of at least 1 head.
