Anyone know?

1/5 = -1/2x + 3/2

times both sides by 2 since on the right the common denominator is 2

2(1/5) = -1x + 3

2/5 = -1x + 3

then subtract both sides by three

2/5 = -1x + 3

-3              -3

or 

2/5 = -1x + 15/5

-15/5         -15/5

then simplify

-2 3/5 = -1x

or 

-13/5 = -1x

then divide both sides by -1

(-2 3/5)/-1 = -1x/-1

x = 2 3/5

or x = 13/5
