So we attempted to solve for the missing exponent by doing the following and it was incorrect. 

original question: 924500000=___ x 10^---

 

I took the Ln of 10 to get 2.302........

 

92450000*10^2.3025850929940457

 

This equation did not = 924500000

 

Not sure where we went wrong....please help

\(9.245\times 10^x=924500000\)

x=8

\(924500000={\color{blue}9.245} \times 10^{\color{blue}8}\)
