lol because a new message means you either got a new message personally or someone publicly posted a new message on the forum its a glitch so melody if you want to let andre know about that you can i suppose

We all do.  From what I understand it is worse for the moderators.  

Do you get the new posts popping up on the bottom of your screen or do only the moderators get that?

I get that too (probably that's for both power users and moderators), but that doesn't really bother me.

It does bother me though to keep clicking message center without any new messages.

I think they go together.  I get a pop up for a post and then it is followed by a phantom message.

What I also noticed is that since I joined this forum my webbrowser usually looks like this

hey reinout that message thing happens with me also 1 actually i love getting messages and after seeing the icon i get excited but then i get to see nothing new but just the old ones ! by the way u guys poted really cool pics !  and dont worry melody i too get a pop up for the posts at the bottom og my screen !
