If i have a yearly value of tickets delivered on time 5395 and total tickets 6977. the percentage is 77.33% If i then break down every month and get the percentage of every each month and add these percentage values and divide by 12 i dont get the same average value. is that correct?

Jan 434/916 = 0,47

Feb 485/689 = 0,70

Mar 527/659 = 0,80

April 471/617 =0,76

May 491/596 = 0,82

Jun 543/607 = 0,89

Jul 345/398 = 0,87

Aug - 504/603 = 0,84

Sep - 506/602 = 0,84

Oct - 493/605 = 0,81

Nov - 466/537 = 0,87

Dec 130/148 = 0,88

Average is 0,80

And with total year 5395/6977 = 0,77

Generally speaking, the average of the averages is not the average of the total amount because you don't have the same base number (total)  in each month.
