Sam the baker bought 56 of chocolate chips each bag contained 78 chips. Sam used the chocolate chips to bake four cakes. Each cake contained the same number of chips. How many chocolate chips did each cake contain?

1,092 chocolate chips are in each cake. You would multiply 56*78, to find out how many chocolate chips there are in all, and then divide the answer by 4, to find out how many chocolate chips are in each cake.

Hope this helps! :)

56 x 78 = 4,368

4,368/4 = 1,092

Each cake contained 1,092 chocolate chips

And just so yeh know, its not common to put chocolate chips in a cake in my opinion. I wouldn't if you were planning to. ;)
