The lines y = 2x and y = 3x are drawn in the coordinate plane. Find the slope of the line that bisects the acute angle between these lines.

y = 2x  means that  the  angle  that this line  makes with the x axis =    arctan (2)

Likewise.....y = 3x  means  that  the  angle   that this line  makes with the  x axis = arctan (3)

To find the slope of  the bisecting line we  can evaluate this  :

tan  [  ( arctan (2)  +  arctan (3) ) /  2 ]  ≈  2.41
