c*27=c*5 how to solve this kind of problem,this is algebra but i don't how to solve this, kindly help me, thanks

Hi anon, thanks for getting involved :)

2*3=3*2

and

c*27=27*c

It makes no difference what side the c is on   :)

 

You are right   c*27 cannot equal c*5  UNLESS c=0.  

If c=0 then you get 0=0 which is true :)

It could be that you have got it wrong

 

because if c on the left is equal to the c on the right (they are both c), then you are pretty much asking if 5 is equal to 27 (not correct of course)
