You’re making a blanket which consists out of 35 squares (7x7)

 

a. How many different blankets could you make if for each square you can choose out of six different colours? Give your answer in scientific notation.

 

b. How many possibilities are there for a blanket with 20 red and 15 blue squares. 

 

c. Also give the amount of possible blankets with 10 red, 10 blue and 15 yellow squares. Give your answer in scientific notation.

 

d. For the outer edge you alternate between red and blue squares.  For the squares inside you choose randomly between the colours yellow, orange, purple and white. How many blankets are possible using this method?
