As X approaches negative infinity what are the Limits (1/2)x-(4/x^2)

We can actually just plug-and-chug

Start putting in numbers for X and see that it goes to infinity

1: 1/2-4 = -7/2

2: 1-1 = 0

3: 3/2-4/9 = 19/18

4: 2-1/4 = 3/2

5: 5/2-4/25 = 117/25

Etc.

You can see it is progrssively getting bigger.

10,000: 5,000-1/25,000,000 = 4,000 and 24,999,999/25,000,000
