Slope of this equationa at any given x is given by the derivative

3x^2 - 3   = slope

At x = 2   slope ==   3(2)^2 - 3 = 9

Tangent line    y = 9x + b

                    At 2,3      3= 9(2)+b     b = -15

y=9x-15
