Can odd numbers be divisible by 2?

No....to see why.......note that any odd number can be written as  2n + 1 where n is an integer

 

Dividing this by 2, we have

 

[2n + 1 ] / 2   =   2n / 2  +  1/2   =   n + 1/2

 

So......there will always be a remainder of 1/2.....!!!
