A rockets height above ground is modeled by h(t)=−4.9t2+9.8t

1) When is the rocket travelling 9.8 m/s down?

2)When is the rocket travelling 9.8 m/s down?

3) What is the average speed of the rocket over the first second?

 

Are these questions asking to find the acceleration?what formulas can i use to solve?

I think you can use the acceleration formula! You can do some research because that is how we learn! (There are great lessons about it on khan academy, not an advert). :)
