can someyone explain why the square root of 7^2 plus 24^2 equals 25?

sqrt (7^2 + 24^2)  =

 

sqrt(49 + 576)  =

 

sqrt (625)  =

 

sqrt(25 * 25)  =

 

sqrt(25) * sqrt(25)  =

 

5 * 5  =

 

25

I suppose you maybe seeking a "logical" explanation for it. But it is just a coincidence, just as is:

9^3 + 10^3=12^3 + 1^3. Or, the most famous example: 3^2 + 4^2=5^2. There are many examples in Math like these.
