Yah. That is huge.

Write a polynominal that represents the area of the inner circle. Write your answer in terms of π.

Good luck.

Expand the following:
pi (3-x)^2

(3-x) (3-x) = (3) (3) + (3) (-x) + (-x) (3) + (-x) (-x) = 9-3 x-3 x+x^2 = x^2-6 x+9:
pi x^2-6 x+9

pi (x^2-6 x+9) = pi×9+pi (-6 x)+pi x^2:
Answer: |  pi×9 - 6 pi x + pi x^2
