Plug your values into the equation   T= period = 2*pi*(sqrt(2/32)) = 1.570 seconds

b  again....just substitute in to your equation

        T= 1.76 = 2 x pi x sqrt(L/32)

              1.76 /(2 x pi) = sq rt (L/32)

               (1.76/(2xpi))^2 = L/32

               32*(1.76/(2*pi))^2 = L = 2.51 ft long
