can you please help me solve these promblems

169  = x^2      take the positive/neg square roots of both sides

±√169 =  x

± 13  = x

x^3  = 1000    take the cube root of both sides

x = ∛1000

x = 10

16 + x^2  = 41     subtract 16 from both sides

x^2  = 25  take the positive/neg square roots of both sides

x = ±√25

x = ± 5

x^3+3x-9 = x-1+2x     simplify  by subtracting  x - 1 + 2x from both sides

x^3 + 3x - 9 - x + 1 - 2x  = 0    simplify further

x^3  -  8   = 0    add 8 to both sides

x^3   = 8        take the cube root of both sides

x = ∛8   =   2
