Sorry for this being so big. I can't resize the pictures. These are the last ones that I am having a hard time with. I'm not sure if the first one is correct or not. I have to use -4,-2,2, and 4 but not sure if I placed them in the correct boxes. Please help. Thank you! Sorry again.

First one

Avg rate of change on [ a, b ]  =  [ g(b)  - g(a)] / [ b - a]

So....on  [ -3, - 1]   we have  [ 9 - 5] / [ -1 - (-3) ] =   4/ 2  = 2

[-1, 1 ] is correct

[ 1, 3 ]  =   [ 13 - 17 ] / [ 3 - 1 ]  =   -4/ 2  =  -2

[ 3, 4 ] is correct

Second one

Avg rate of change  [2, 5 ]  =  [ 110 - 92 ] / [ 5 - 2 ]  = 18 / 3  =  6

Last one

At x = 3,  y ≈ 3.5

At x = 6, y = 9

So....the avg rate of change is   [ 9 - 3.5 ]  / [ 6 - 3 ]  =   5.5 /3  =  55 / 30  =   11 / 6
