Simplify \(\dfrac{7x^{2014}}{4x^{2013}}\cdot{\dfrac{2x^{2012}}{28x^{2011}}}\cdot\dfrac{9x^{2007}}{x^{2008}}\cdot\dfrac{8x^{2009}}{6x^{2010}}.\)

Is it \(\frac{3}{2} x^4\)?

Just add all the powers of x on the top, and add all the powers of x on the bottom, you should get the number of 8042. Then subtract 8042 - 8042 =0. Then multiply the coefficients on the top: 7 x 2 x 9 x 8=1008. Then multiply the coefficients on the bottom: 4 x 28 x 6 =672. Then divide the top total by the bottom total and you have: 1008 / 672 = 3/2

Ok, oops, I did not notice it was 9x^2007/x^2008 and 8x^2009/6x2010 .... Another careless mistake...

And also, I did it in a different way. I sepreated the numbers and the x's. Then I simplify the fractions so I didn't have to divide. smiley

Thanks so much for checking my answer!
