I'll do a different one and then you can do your own.

240,300 this it the same as 240,300. All whole numbers have an invisable decimal point at the end!
first there must be exactly 1 non zero number in front of the decimal point that is 2.403 (the last 2 zeros are not significant)
Now I moved the point from after the last digit to between the 2 and 4. I moved it 5 places.
240,300 is a big number, bigger than 9, therefore the index is positive
so
240,300 = 2.403 x 10 +5 = 2.403 x 10 5

Now you can do your own one
