Starting with                                   x2 / 2  =  7x

Multiplying both sides by 2:                 x2  =  14x

Subtract 14x from both sides:     x2 - 14x  =  0     (which is answer 'c')

Answer 'a' is also algebraicly correct but, because the leading coefficient is negative, 'c' is preferred.

Note that a: isn't an equation (doesn't have "=").
