Circle B is a dilation of circle A.

a. What is the scale factor?
b. What is the area of the 15-degree sector in circle A?

c. What is the area of the 15-degree sector in circle B?

d. What is the ratio of the areas of the sectors?

e. How does the ratio of areas of the sectors compare to the scale factor?

4/2 = 2, scale factor must be 2.

The 15 degrees is 15/360 = 5/120 = 1/24.

The area formula is π r^2.

You can solve the area for both circles and then multiply by 1/24, or divide by 24, for the area of the sector.

You can then solve D) and E).

:)
