The circumfrench is 2pi*r. 

the raduis is 225. 

Then, remember that it's 40% of the circumfrence. :))

40% is just 4/10 or .4

So you take the circumfrence and multiply by .4

:))

40%  of a crcle's  circumference  =  (4/10) * 2 pi  =  (4/5) pi

 

The  total  distance  run  /   ft /s  =  time

 

So

 

[ 300 + 300  +  (4/5) pi * 225  ]  / 4   ≈   291 seconds    =    4 minutes  51 seconds
