A circle with radius of 3 sits inside a circle with radius of 7. What is the area of the shaded region? Round your final answer to the nearest hundredth.

Area of Circle=Pi x r^2. r=radius

 

Find the area of the larger circle and then the area of the smaller circle. Then subtract the smaller area from the larger one. That should give you the shaded area(even though we can't see a picture of it!).
