In the diagram below, \(O\) is the center of the circle, and \(\overline{UV}\) is a diameter. Find \(\angle XYZ\), in degrees.
In triangle UYV , angle YUV = (1/2) 80 = 40°
And anlge YVU = (1/2) 35 =17.5°
So angle UYV = 180 - 40 -17.5 = 122.5°
And angle XYZ is a vertical angle to UYV so it also measures 122.5°
