[7x-2y+15] -  [(5x+y) + (7+x)]=

Simplify the following:
7 x-2 y+15-((5 x+y)+(x+7))

-(7+6 x+y) = -7-6 x-y:
7 x-2 y+15+-7-6 x-y

Grouping like terms, 7 x-2 y+15-7-6 x-y = (-2 y-y)+(7 x-6 x)+(15-7):
(-2 y-y)+(7 x-6 x)+(15-7)

-2 y-y = -3 y:
-3 y+(7 x-6 x)+(15-7)

7 x-6 x = x:
-3 y+x+(15-7)

15-7 = 8:
Answer: |  -3y + x + 8
