Complete the equation of the line through (-10,-7),(-5,-9)
what is the equasion?

\(m=\frac{y_2-x_2}{y_1-x_1}=\frac{-9+5}{-7+10}=-\frac{4}{3}\)

\(y=mx+b\)

\(b=y_1-mx_1\)

\(b= -7-\frac{-4}{3}\times(-10)=-20\frac{1}{3}\)

The equastion is

\(\LARGE y=-\frac{4}{3}x-\frac{61}{3}\)  laugh  !

I have to check this out.

(-10,-7),(-5,-9)

Slope  =  [ −9 − (−7 )] / [ −5 − (− 10) ]  =   −2/5

Using point−slope form

y  =  [ −2/5 ] [ x − (−5) ]  − 9

y = [ −2/5 ] [ x + 5 ]  − 9

y = [ −2/5 ]  x   − 2 −  9

y = [ −2/5 ] x  − 11

cool cool cool
