Now, thanks to my friend Romsek, I have an answer for you.
It was a bit of a doh! moment for me, I should have worked it out myself.
Anyway the solution starts by setting up 2 equations.
1 for f(2) and
1 for f(6)
then you just solve them as simultaneous equations.
Now it is back to you.
