So i have a expression that I factor. d^2 + 2d + 1 -4e^2
To factor this, first I factor d^2+2d+1 (d+1)^2 - 4e^2
I then noticed that this is difference of squares
So, I have (d+1-2e)(d+1+2e)...
However, when I put my final answer into symbolab, I get d^2+4e-4e^2-1
What did I do wrong?
