Hey fellow contributors! I hope this post finds you all well and safe during this time. I recently encountered a Guest who merely wanted to use the forum as a means of getting a free pass out of homework (or that is at least what I assumed). You can find the post down below:

https://web2.0calc.com/questions/i-need-help_9506#r1.

I responded to him as follows:

Hey Guest. I just wanted to clarify some possible misconceptions you might have about this forum. Most importantly, the main goal of this forum is not to do people's work for them but to help them with any problems or struggles they might have with certain questions. We would love to help you with problems that you need help understanding, but we cannot do all the work for you. And we definitely do not want to be responsible for your grades on your assignments. Using this forum as a free pass out of homework isn't fair to the contributors that work hard answering your problems and it is not fair to yourself as well. School isn't just about passing grades, it's about learning and grasping the concepts. By posting the problems here without attempting them yourself isn't helping you learn anything about what was taught in class. Just to end this on a positive note, we have plenty of contributors who are glad to help you any time of the day; just remember that we do not do your work for you. Hopefully, this all made sense to you.

All the best,

BasicMaths

Did I say anything incorrectly? I know most of you all are on longer than I am, so I wanted to make sure that I didn't say anything false about this forum and such. Also, if any of you guys could respond to the post that would be great as well. I'm sure you guys could write something up better than I did. Thanks!

All the best,

BasicMaths

Also, I didn't know how to make this post off-topic, so yeah.
