Can Somebody please convert this equation to a logarithmic equation?

42.07e^(0.75x) = y     divide both sides by 42.07

 

e^(0.75x)   = y/42.07       take the ln of both sides

 

ln e ^(0.75x)  = ln [ y / 42.07]      and we can write

 

0.75x * ln e   = ln [y / 42.07]          ln e  = 1, so we can drop this

 

0.75x =  ln [y / 42.07]       divide both sides by 0.75

 

x = ln [y / 42.07] /  0.75
