A line containing the points P2(2,16) and P1(-8,14) intersects the y-axis at what point?

Hello Guest!

The function equation is

\(f(x)=\frac{16-14}{2-(-8)}\cdot (x-(-8))+14\\ f(0)=\frac{16-14}{2-(-8)}\cdot (0-(-8))+14\\ \color{blue}f(0)=15.6\)

The ordinate axis is intersected at the point (0, 15.6).
