A triangle has vertices A(−3, 3) , B(−1, 3) , and C(−1, −1). Where is the circumcenter of triangle ABC?
The circumcenter is the point where all three perpendicualr bisectors meet (we actually only need two of them)
In this case.......this is a right triangle with the hypotenuse = AC....there is an easy way to find the circumcenter n this situation....
See the graph here :
The circumcenter is located at the midpoint of hypotenuse AC = [ (-3 - 1)/2 , ( 3 +1)/2 ] = (-2, 2) = D on the graph
