+218 PROBLEM IS AS FOLLOWS:
A clock that strikes only the hours has struck a total of 21 times in the last 2.5 hours. Seconds ago, it just finished striking the hour. What hour?
Please also provide a clear explination as to how in the world a clock can strick 21 times in 2.5 hours (As far as i know 21 hours does not equal 2 hours)

Seconds ago, the clock struck 8 o'clock. 0 hours
One hour earlier, it struck 7 o'clock. 1 hour
One hour before that, it struck 6 o'clock. 2 hours
30 minutes before that, no noise. 2.5 hours
