There is six ways to arrange the three

a b c

c a b

b c a

a c b

c b a

b a c               

      then there are 6 ways to seat them next to each other in the row of 8 chairs

 

6 x 6                

   and there are 5 remaining people to arrange in the remaining 5 seats

                                5!

 

5! x 6 x 6 = ...............
