English has  letters that can be vowels. This includes Y, which can be either a consonant or a vowel; for this problem, we'll consider Y a consonant.  The other  English letters always consonants. How many two-letter "words" can we make from these letters if we are required to use at least one vowel?

   first letter consonant    21     x    5

       second letter consonant    5   x   21

both letters different  vowels (different or alike)           5 x 5

105   + 105    + 25 = 235 'words' with at LEAST one vowel
