The Grammar club has 20 members: 10 boys and 10 girls. A 4-person committee is chosen at random. What is the probability that the committee has at least 1 boy?

Im pretty sure that since 20 members and 1 boy = 5/100

5% chance. or 5/100.

If correct, be sure to like my question!

I think the probability is the number of possible events divided by the number of all events.
Man is represented as m and woman is represented as w.
All possible events are mmmm, wwww, mmmw, mmww, mwww, so 5 events can happen.

If there is at least one man in the committee, then 4 events agree here.

The probability is therefore 4/5.

\(\frac{\mbox{Total number of all possible events}}{\mbox{Total number of all events}}\).
