Plz help I don't know.

In a row of five squares, each square is to be colored either red, yellow, or blue, so that no two consecutive squares have the same color, and at lest three of the squares are red.  How many ways are there to color the five squares?

Because at least three squares are red and it is a row of five squares you must have R,_,R,_,R

and the two blanks can be either yellow or blue. If you count it out you will get:

R,Y,R,Y,R

R,B,R,B,R

R,Y,R,B,R

R,B,R,Y,R

and you will get the answer 4 ways.
