Where does the reciprocal function of f(x)=3-x increase?

{x|x>3, x e R}

{x|x<3, x e R}

{x|x e R}

{x|x can't equal 3, x e R}

I thought it was the last option, am I correct?

I don't think f(x)=3-x  is a reciprocal function.
I'm pretty sure it is a linear function.
