The family drank 2 quarts and 1 pint of milk. They had 3 quarts at the beginning of the meal. How much milk is left?
Well I measured this in pints. 1 quart is equal to 2 pints and if they had 3 quarts at the begining, they basically have 6 pints.
Family: 6p
And if they drank 2 quarts and 1 pint, 2 quarts is 4 pints, plus another pint is a total of 5 pints
6p-5p = p
1 Pint
This problem is very mentaly simple, I just explained it in a way.
